What is One Piece?
One Piece is an anime/manga made by Eiichro Oda and is the bestselling manga of all time. Oda has been working on this story since he was a child and was inspired by an old cartoon called "Vicky the Viking" and was fascinated with Vikings. He began working right away and was also inspired by other great manga artist such as Akiria Toriyama the creator of the famous "Dragon ball" manga and anime. His first rise to fame happened when he entered a manga contest for another famous anime and won with his staple character panda man. One piece follows Monkey D Luffy and his crew (straw hat pirates) on a adventure to find Gol D Rogers legendary treasure the One Piece and to follow Luffy’s dream of becoming King of the pirates. Along the way on his adventure, he makes many friends and foes but more importantly his crew who are pretty much his family. One Piece has many different lessons for young kids to learn and is still entertaining enough for all ages. One piece is the second most selling comic of all time with first being "superman". As the story is still ongoing and there is possibility of new crew members as of right now the crew consist of: Roanoa Zoro who is luffy’s first mate and has dreams of becoming the world’s strongest swordsman. Nami is the navigator of the crew and without her they would all be clueless. Usopp has dreams of being a strong warrior at sea like his father. Sanji is the chef of the crew and has dreams to find a secret part of the ocean called all blue. Chopper is a doctor whose dream is to find a cure for all diseases and is a reindeer who ate the human-human fruit. Nico Robin is an archeologist who want to know about a 800 year span that the world government is hiding. Franky is the shipwright and always wanted to build his dream ship for a crew and travel the world with it. Brook is the musician who dies but came back to life with the power of the soul-soul fruit and wants to see his dear friend Laboon after over 50 years.
